Issue wiht Auto Termination

Hi,

I have two opt 11c's linked by PRI. The reason I did this was to share the meridian mail which is on one of the opt 11c's. For the sake of this making sense, I will call the opt11c with mail in it,theprimary, and the other connected by the link I will call the secondary. I have two problems at this point.

First: When I ring one of the DN's on the secondary and I call forward that DN to mail, this is what I get:

'The person at extension 1xxxx isnt avialable to take your call.....etc...' so its putting a 1 in front of whatever DN I dial on the secondary. On the screen it shows 'Hxxxx'

Second: the other problem is that the message waiting lamps will light on the primary but not the secondary???

Otherwise access to the mail is ok

Any thoughts???

cheers,

Kerry

Lock a phone? (M3900)

I have set both ends of the tie to VCE in the route data block. But the switch is still inserting a '1'. Have I left something out??

Making an image of a CallPilot 702t server

Looks like a config issue on the RDB.

Questions:

1.) How is your CDP setup? DSC? TSC? LSC?
2.) Is INAC set to YES in the RDB?
3.) Check the RLI that is being used by the CDP DSC entries. Is there a DMI in play?

Payphones on a Meridian 1

Hi,

INAC is currently set to NO. Im not that experienced so Im not 100 percent sure about the cdp setup( or steering codes).

however I printed a dnb of dn '1' and got this:

DN 1
TYPE CDP
STCD DSC

Could that have anything to do with it???

Also Im not sure how to check the RLI's, could you explain?(Is it in LD 90?)

thanks ,

Kerry

opt11c link

I just did a print of cdp in ld87 and got this if it is any additional use:
DSC
DSC 1
FLEN 4
DSP LSC
RRPA NO
RLI 4
NPA
NXX
DSC 5001
FLEN 4
DSP LSC
RRPA NO
RLI 4
NPA
NXX

Is it the dsc causing the problem??

Yes, the 1 is being used as a routing digit....Hard to examine and comment on your network without looking at a lot of things.

Do the DN ranges conflict between the 2 sites?
Can you just CDP the DN's?
