MC 32 and IP phones
Hello
Anyone can tell me about the programming of MC 32 card ( without signaling server) and how I2002 or I2004 IP phones are programmed. Where as I have programmed a Virtual loop and configured MC 32 card in LD 14 type VGW. but still card's LED is red. Infact I want to install IP phone without signaling server and I have MC 32 card. If some one has time please tell me in detail.

It must have a serial connection, use your terminal to connect this card, if it is new programmed it IP info. There will be a document CD which should came with this card, It is fairly easy to programme through NTP`s.

All CS 1000 NTPs are available at Nortel: Products: Communication Server 1000: Overview and then follow the "Technical Documentation" link. Use the pull-down menu where it shows "ALL RELEASES" if you want to filter on a specific release. You will want to download the "IP Phones Fundamentals" and "IP Lines Fundamentals" documents.
