Time off on phone sets

Currently we are sending the main billing number out through the TELCO and they are sending our names based on Name of whichever key is placing the Call.

They want to send the main billing number and main billing name (not the DN of the set).

Can you program the PBX to send just a single name not the name of the DN.

CFXA....Is it really a problem?

The Meridian currently does not support Company Name as you have stated.

A workaround for the problem would be to provision the user name on KEY 0 and the company Name on KEY 1, Use KEY 1 for outbound calls.

Not clean or pretty, but it's a workaround.

Thanks Fletch...that is sort of what I thought but there has been some debate where people say you can send a main billing numbrer. I thought perhaps there might of been a new feature I was unaware of or someone had some interesting workaround.

I had the same sort of issue. I spoke to the telco, ATT, they said if I send them nothing at the DMS they could insert billing number and billing name like a analog trunk. Also some sets have the privacy bit set (call block) ATT said they will honor that as well.

Again a work around.
