Rep Power: 0 ![]() | MICB Web Access fails with 400 Bad Request Greetings, We have an Option 11c running release 25.40 and a MICB (Meridian Conference Bridge) on firmware 3.02.07. Currently we just rolled out a number of new PCs and none of them can access the web client side of the MICB. Failure seen is HTTP 400 Bad Request. The machines are Windows XP SP2 with IE 6. It appears to be IE and not XP as I have tried Firefox 2 with no problems on the same machine. The MICB is accessable from any other machine on the network regardless of OS. Only the new machines are affected (Dell Latitude D630, Optiplex 755 and Precision 490). Has anyone else seen this failure? Which update needs to be applied or removed. Thanks a bunch, Mark

We noted the micb web access fails when the machine has installed the program Framework 3.0. Before this version, micb access does not fail. Regards!.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thank you! Thank you! That was the key! I found a removal tool to pull out .NET Framework 3.0 and am now able to access the MICB. For anyone searching the removal tool information is at Aaron Stebner's WebLog : Removal tool to fix .NET Framework install failures. Mark

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | We are currently seeing the same issue with our Nortel Conference Bridge application BUT we are actually wanting to use the .Net framework 3.5. Is there some way we can actually use the newer applications built on the 3.5 framework and still be able to access the conference bridge web site? It seems strange that doing a fairly common software update would totally disable our ability to get in through the web. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. David D. PS - It works in Firefox, just in case anyone else is having this issue and needs a work around. Last edited by DDayDawg; 06-10-2008 at 12:36 PM.
