Rep Power: 0 ![]() | TMDI Card (t!) and Connecting to a Dialogic Card in a server Good Day Everyone At my wits end here, I've had a few tech's in already to work through it to no avail, seems simple I have a TMDI card plugged into my secondary PBX cabinet (option 11) I need to get it connected to a dialogic card in a server. I currently have a 50 pin (plugs into the back plane of the cabinet) cable terminating to a db-15 connector, it was supplied with the card. I need to convert the db-15 connector to a RJ-45 to connect to the dialogic card, obviously it needs to be done in a crossover, I have db15 to rj45 connector (the ones with the push in pins to configer), problem is I do not know the pin configuration within this connector, can anyone help? I've tried a few I found on the net to no avail. Thanks Alex Thanks Alex Last edited by hisalive; 05-13-2008 at 03:01 PM.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | One more question I've done as mentioned above to a "T" and know it is correct, not being much of a programmer but understand that the system does not recognize the card in the slot, get red green lights on the top, I have to other brand new cards doing the same thing, when I check inventory I do not see the card it is sitting in slot 17 (slot 7) in secondary cabinet. My question is, does the card need to be in the first cabinet? Is there some line commands I can do to test the card? I've had it programmed in the slot it is in but the person said they couldn't see the card? Any advice or direction would be much appreciated.

Action: Ensure the card is plugged in, then enable the card. Severity: Info. Critical to Monitor: No. SNMP trap: Yes I reseated the card multiple times ordered a new one and same thing. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks for the help Thanks for the help so far on this issue, I had called Nortel and they told me my TMDI card needed to be in the primary cabinet, so have have to swap one of my digital line cards, I'll let you know how I make out. The pinout for the cable above was a great help and got me connected that way. Thanks

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Almost there and Bang another snag! Good Day everyone First off I have to thank everyone for all the help on this/these issues which have been resolved. I was thinking on starting another thread on my next problem but it's all part of this project, so here goes We've successfully connected the tmdi card to the dialogic card and got the speech server and tmdi communicating. The Problem When calling into the speech rec. genie with a digital set the genie cannot here you, ( you say something and it responds "I didn't here you" if calling from an analog or I.P. set there is no problem and functions properly, I believe the problem is in the DLC itself? We use older 2008 and 2016 digital sets so I got ahold of a 3904 and swapped one out and still the same thing? You also have the option of punching in the extension of the individual and it works on all. Could this be a hand free problem, though I pick up the handset? Thanks for any help! We have an option 11 system upgraded in the past to succession 3.0. Alex
