Call Transfer from Analogue Handset

Hi,

Using a CS1000 PBX the following has been raised by users. When a call is received and they transfer it they press recall, followed by the DN to transfer to, if CallPilot answers the call and they press recall again it conferences the three calls together rather than letting them just get back to the original caller so obviously CallPilot is then recording the call.

Is it possible to stop this behavior so that the calls are not conferenced together and by pressing recall it takes them back to only the original caller. This is how it worked on the previous PBX.

Thanks for any assistance.

They are going to need to grab the call back BEFORE call pilot answers.

Thanks for the reply.

I think they are wanting to be able to get the call back even when CallPilot is set to answer immediately etc. Is there anyway out of this using the recall function of an analogue phone without dialling 83 in to CallPilot? Is there a way to change the behavior so that calls aren't conferenced together in this way?

Are you using the hook flash transfer method?

Hi Yes this using hook flash.

Using IP phones of course all is fine because the original call can easily be taken back.

Thanks.
