Location: In a Galaxy far, far away... [a.k.a. Tiverton, Ontario (CANADA)] Rep Power: 8  |  Wireless VoIP Woes - Assert Errors and Batteries Hello out there!!! Has anyone experienced problems with the 2211 and 2212 phones suddenly experiencing assert errors? I am having a rash of assert problems on these phones. They have been working fine for many months. We have changed NOTHING. No new firmware, no new patches, no changes to the wireless network. The only new thing is some new batteries. Oddly, some phones seem to work better (i.e. stop giving errors) when we give them the old batteries bt I cannot confirm this behaviour. WARNING TO NORTEL PEOPLE - My network folks are getting tired of the Nortel phone issues!!! They are chomping at the bit to dump the Nortel phones and try Cisco wireless phones!!! This will be the thin edge of the wedge if they do!!! SD  __________________ Life is far too important to be taken seriously! | ||||||||
