Location: God's Country Rep Power: 6  Country:  | key system Suggestion Since upgrading from OPT 61 rls. 21 to OPT 61C rls. 25.40B cannot manually swap clocks. System has been on clock 1 since upgrade. We installed the new NTRB53's. I verified all cables are connected properly. I verified the switch settings on the standby clock. I replaced the standby clock NTRB53. I used the ENL CC 0 FDL command to bring it back. I've tried SWCK with either core active. Has anyone seen this problem with these new clocks? I'm copying the command results... .SSCK 0 ENBL STANDBY CLOCK CONTROLLER - TRACK ON LOOP 3 PREF - 3 SREF - 8 AUTO SWREF CLK - ENBL NO ERROR .SSCK 1 ENBL CLOCK ACTIVE CLOCK CONTROLLER - TRACK ON LOOP 3 PREF - 3 SREF - 8 AUTO SWREF CLK - ENBL NO ERROR .SWCK ERR020 25 31 . DTI010 0 XMI000 20 : PLL UNLOCK EVENT XMI000 28 : PLL UNLOCK EVENT XMI000 4 : PLL UNLOCK EVENT DTI0010 loop c System clock c cannot be switched in to replace active clock; or another loop is already in loopback mode. | ||||||||

Location: God's Country Rep Power: 6 Country: | cdr records The loops are not in alarm. Loop 3 is a CO PRI. Loop 8 is a PRI tie to our 81C. I'm reviewing the documentation and what I think is that the new clock (NTRB53), is only compatable in a PBX with FNF. I think the vendor should have left the QPC471H's in. Can anyone confirm this?? | ||||||||

Location: Chicago -- CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE Rep Power: 12 | cdr records From Product Bulletin P-2002-1658-NA Issue 1.2 The NTRB53AA is supported on Software X11 Releases 21.x, 23.x, 24.x, and 25x. The NTRB53AA can not be mixed in the same system with a QPC471 or QPC775. Note: Previous correspondence stated that the Global Clock Controller it would be supported on release 19.x, however this software is now in the Retired status and is no longer supported. TheNTRB53AA replaces the QPC471 and QPC775 on supported software listed above. The NTRB53AA is supported on system types 21E, 51, 51C 61, 61C, 71, 81, 81C equipped with the above software. It appears that the cable length setting is a BFD on these cards -- for a 61C should be 6' and there are also 2 required patches, MPLR16165 & MPLR16804 Good luck Jack __________________ Dogs rollover Phones hunt | ||||||||

Location: God's Country Rep Power: 6 Country: | IPE Fiber remotes All the 61C's that are running on 25.40B software at our other locations have the QPC471H clocks and have been running with no errors. If you order an upgrade package for a 61 it includes the NTRB53's. If the 61 is already a core (61C) the upgrade package does not include the new clocks. Also checked several other sites and have not found a 61C, 25.40B that has the new clocks. I'm replacing the NTRB53's with the original QPC471's. Anyone have a 61C, 25.40B with NTRB53's running without errors? | ||||||||

Location: God's Country Rep Power: 6 Country: | External access to meridian mail ETAS advises that running a 61C on 25.40B with NTRB53 clocks may not run properly. They advised it might have to go back to design!!! Anyone have this running OK? | ||||||||
