CLID on Analog line cards

I have three option 81c's and one option 11. Location A (81c) has Octel voicemail. from location B (81c) you dial into voice mail and the tone has changed when you enter your password. Almost like a hollow sound. All othe locations are okay. Anyone have any ideas. the voice mail works fine, just the tone has changed when entering password

Could it be a bad digit tone card?

Nars/Bars question.

I have worked with Octel Voice mail and whan I call my voice mail system from the outside and it first asks for "mail box number please" then I enter box number, then it asks for "password" then it gives me my mail not dial tone. are you using disa to get into your mail system?

Please explain alittle better what you are doing and the steps you are taking.

getting a 2006 to only dial internally

IF YOU MEAN WHEN YOU PUSH THE DIGITS THE TONE SOUNDS HOLLOW, YOUR TRUNKS FROM THAT SITE SOMEHOW HAD INCREASE IN GAIN. MUST LIKELY FROM THE TELCO

Class of restriction help

thanks for all the input...here is the latest. Another tech told me to call any company that has an automated attendant and see if the same thing happens...It does . So this is telling me it is something in the switch. I disabled my TDS cards one at a time and did some testing but the problem is still there. I am now totally confused. Any other ideas :casstet:

RAD Trouble

Although they are 2 different beasts, I had a Norstar Startalk voicemail system, that would not process calls properly after being answered.. or thru dialing. After a few hours of testing, I replaced the voicemail system (the Startalk has no "parts" to replace), and their problem went away. What was odd, was the digits coming from any phone (Nortel or not) would do great with all digits dialed, be it another offsite voicemail or pagers. I guess its possible for some voicemail equipment not to be in "tone" with the frequencies that other equipment is sending it. Have you checked with Octel for any issues on that system/release? Just another angle to look at.

Just wondering - Does everything work and you just don't like the tone when entering the password? - or can you not enter the password?

If you print FTR_Data in ld 21. EEST should = no, DTMF = yes

the tone you hear as you hit the keys to enter your password. everything seems to work fine. I have been told that some users say it did not recognize their password. I was able to get in every time i tried it :casstet:
