Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Rep Power: 6 ![]() | MICS 5.0 no dial tone = FIXED I know how to use CLBA (D) on a set to block Caller ID, and I use a few different caller Id table in ld 15. I have a Davox dialer that is tied to a Option 11 with 6 AMI/SF T-1's that are all in one Trunk group configured as Tie lines. All six routes would be incoming to the PBX. With part of the trunks making outbound calls and the rest calling phonesets waitng for answered calls to be connected to agents (via a CTI controlled app). I have can get into the dialer and do manual dial commands. Each I get the Pilot DID number displayed, also I am getting complaints of our company name being displayed. Which must be a coming from the Carriers. Any Ideas on how overide this like you would with CLID tables on the sets. What i need is something like CLBD in the trunk class of service. I have tried messing with TCPP on the PRI trunks. Any Ideas? Location: Alpharetta, GA Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Call Center technology question? I connect my outbound trunks from my Davox directly to the CO. I would block it from there. You may want to check local ordinances and state laws, as some states require all businesses to allow caller identification. If you disallow it, you may get into big trouble. BTW, I am on the national do not call list !!!

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Q.SIG on Norstar? To rhowlett:The people this Dialer call's are deadbeats, that do not paytback the money they borrow from my company. They deserve to be annoyed. Anyway I solved this by calling MCI and having them change the number they were displaying to a DID number that point to our Collections Inbound ACD group. I convinced our Collections management that displaying a caller ID is not a bad thing. Hey these people call us back on thier dime instead of using our Toll free numbers. With Collection Activities the restriction are not as stringent but certain rules have to be followed from state to state0

Location: Chlt-NC Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Vacant Call Routing? Here is something else that may be of use. On your Davox TIE route assign a Billing Number as follows on your route data block. BILN = YES <- ACTIVATE BILLING NUMBER BLEN = 10 <- NUMBER OF DIGITS IN BILLING NUMBER BNUM = NPA NXX XXXX <- ACTUAL BILLING NUMBER BDSP = YES <- DISPLAY DIALING NUMBER On your outgoing routes, set SBN = Send Billing Number to YES, and set TCPP=YES (Calling Party Privacy on Billing). This may do what you are looking for. When setting this up make sure that outbound CLID is unaffected from M1 stations.

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Forcing Password Changes It did the trick, but they really starting complaining when CPP was invoked. They had close to a third of all calls blocked. I changed TCPP to no in RDB's but left eveything else that RHack suggested. That seems to be overwriting whatever was out thier displaying a name. Thanks MMtech

Location: Chlt-NC Rep Power: 6 ![]() | MCDN TCPP=Yes is in essence equivelent to a *67 to block caller id. So for subscribers that do not allow blocked calls I can see where you would have problems. Glad it worked otherwise. These are the types of features that are not well documented but have great use.
