SMDR cable pin out for option 11

Hello,

I own a small company that distributes RS232 to Ethernet data collection devices. Our target is call accounting applications. You can learn more about our product by visiting the website our website, datacomgear.com Perhaps you can help me with a problem I am having?. The phone system we are integrating to is manufactured by Nortel. When the PBX is connected to an available com port on the PC we receive clean data. But when it is connected to the PortStore device we get garbage. Here is the pin out configuration for the cable that is being used:

The 25 pin on the switch is:

Pin 1 - FGND
Pin 2 - RX
Pin 3 - TX
Pin 4 - RTS tied back to Pin 8 - CD
Pin 6 - DSR tied back to Pin 20 - DTR
Ping 7 - SGND
Pin 5 - CTS but goes nowhere

RS232 9 pin connector:

Pin 1 - FGND
Pin 2 - TS
Pin 3 - RX
Pin 7 - SGND

Check this against the pin out for the device;

pin 2 IN RxD
pin 3 OUT TxD
pin 4 DTR
pin 5 GND
pin 6 IN DSR
pin 7 OUT RTS
pin 8 IN CTS

Your help is very much appreciated and I will gladly pay you if you can solve this problem.
