Question Telephony Manager 3.1 - TNChecker

After installing Telephony Manager 3.1 with nothing but the sample site, I'm getting a pop up error that says "TNChecker" in the heading and "Could not connect" in the body of the message.

Does anyone have any insight as to what TNChecker is and what its trying to connect to?

Not sure but it sounds like you need to install new drivers for the dongle. After installing the dongle you will need to reinstall TM. Do NOT do a repair as it will not work. You can get the drivers from the web.

I have this happening too. It usually stops until I reboot the PC. I wouldn't go and reload TM just yet. This trouble has been reported to Nortel and there is no update on the fix at this time. Will post answer if I hear anything.

TN Checker Patch

3102841SU is now on the Nortel Website and shows item CRs fixed in this service update 56 Q01813376 TN Checker, Out of Memory error windows pop up after installing 3.1 SU1

I loaded the 2 patches this morning and so far so good.

Hi, having the same problem now too. I searched the Nortel site for the mentioned patch but can't find it anywhere... any pointers as to where you found this?
