Assigning a direct number in opt 11

I am working with an opt 11 Nortel System. I had moved some phones around and there is also a request to re-assign a direct number from one extension to another. I can remote into the system using Procomm but I am a bit unsure on how to assign an incoming line to an extension.

Any help would be great!

If it's a DID it is the extension, DID numbers are nothing but extensions in the numbering plan

It looks as though your extension layout is 3xx for their main line (key 0), and 4xx (key 1)for their rollover.

If you are talking about a COT (regular Flat business line - nothing special) trunk ringing on a particular extension, look in the NTP's under LD 14 for the MNDN, ATDN, and NITE entries - this may be what you are looking for.

Hope this helps
