Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Call forward to external number Greetings all, We have an international toll free number that routes into an application with options 1 for english, 2 for french. Pressing 1 transfers to an internal extension without any problems. Pressing 2 is supposed to transfer to an external number (a long distance number in our Quebec office). As I can't enter an external number in an application builder transfer, I've forwarded to another non-did (x35 Currently, if you press two, the phone rings twice in Quebec, then you get a message "The call cannot be completed" and then it hangs up. NCOS on x358 allows long distance calls, and CFXA is enabled for 16 digits. Basically what I need is a way to do external->application->internal->external. Or, if possible, external->application->external. Suggestions? Thanks in advance

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I had tried that originally, and had the same problem: two rings, then call cannot be completed, etc. I thought maybe I could set permissions better with an actual phone than with an ACD w/ NCFW, but it seems that didn't help. Makes me feel better to have my earlier attempts validated though.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | That's odd....If I dial the other phone from my phone, it connects properly (4 rings in Quebec, then voicemail there). If I dial the SDN and choose 2 for French, I end up with the same original problem (2 rings, then dropped with "your call cannot be completed")

Location: South Africa Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Seems to me your problem is with your "application". Not sure if you are referring to Call Pilot or MMail? From your reports it appears that your application does not allow the call to connect at the remote site. What exactly are you using?

Location: Nortel South Africa Rep Power: 40 ![]() | What version of Callpilot are you running? If possible, can you take a screenshot of your Application and uploaded it this thread so we can see what could be wrong in the application. I have just created an application and under "Transfer to Specific Extension" I have entered an external number, and it worked Just remember to prefix the number with the external AC1....

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | BigWorM: I've read a number of pages on this site referencing Phantoms, but can't find one that tells me how to create one. Unfortunately this means I haven't been able to give that a try. Kalahary-Harry: Ancient version of call pilot and application builder, but unfortunately there's no money to upgrade right now. CallPilot version 2.01.27. Mercury_Storm: I'm attempting to upload a screenshot with this post. Hopefully that works. The English transfer block is to an internal number, no problem. The french transfer is currently to a non-did phone forwarded to QC, though at one point I had entered 9,1418xxxxxxx and had the same 2 ring then hangup problem. Also, ignore the French_Voicemail block. That was an attempt to save calls from being hung up on by routing to an internal VM after the transfer failed, but that doesn't work either and will be removed shortly. Also, it makes sense to me that CallPilot numbers have their own Class of Service, though I can't think where I'd check that. Hopefully you can point me to the right loads? If helpful, voicemail here is x333 but if I print that in LD20 it doesn't give me a TN at all.... Last edited by Disallowed; 01-10-2008 at 09:09 AM.
