Question Dialing to External through a Tie Trunk

I have two PBX link by a Tie trunk.
My T1 is on PBX A... and I need to place call from phones connected
on PBX B.

Local calls are working. But whenever I try to place a call using
9-1-613-xxx-xxxx I get a fast busy.

I tried to follow Bars programming and comparing my local NPA but was unable to find what to change so I could place calls from PBX B to PBX A.

Also played with NCOS/TGAR without any success.

So here the detail's:

What is dmi 9 doing? What are the NCOS's of the tieline channels on both sides of the tieline?

Just a quick way to check if its an NCOS issue.. change the FRL of the 612 npa on the pbx where the call will be accessing the PSTN to the same FRL as a local call would use

Are you able to dial the ACOD of the TIE line of PBX B and then dial the extension on PBX A that you want to reach? Is your normal plan of dialing to dial the 9+1+area code+nnx+nnnn and the DMI 9 strips the 1areacode and nxx and routes the call via CDP. Post your cdp tables from LD 87, as well as you DMI entries from LD 86 as telecomatt has suggested.

By the way... I just changed the RLi on the NPA as per telecomatt recommendation on the Main PBX... and it works...

But I need to understand why...

Thanks

Could be a few places depending on different settings. Is the NCOS of the originating set high enough to access the Long Distance RLI on the pbx where the T1 is? You may have an FRL set on the Main pbx with FRL thats too high and is restricting the sets.

I know we have it working.. Print a TNB on the PBX without the PSTN t1. Print out a tnb of a trunk on each side of the tieline. post them.. then we can fix your problem.
