Lightbulb MC32s

Hi,

I am trying to install an MC32s into a system and I'm having one-way speech path. The strange thing is that the problem does not happen with a regular Mc32. I've replaced the MC32s and I still have the same problem. Any clues?

I found what the problem was: with the MC32s you have un ELAN IP address, 1 T-LAN IP address and a DSP IP address. We were configuring the same IP address for the T-LAN as for the DSPs. This info is not very clear in the NTPs.

Best Regards,
AHA

So...

What did you put on the TLAN DSP IP address field?

I'm trying to confing some MC32s on rel. 5 and The NTPs don't say much about this.

Thanks in advance...

Hello to everyone, I´m having the same problem, I´m installing a MC32S and some times have Speech path from IP to MC32S, and some times there is no speech path from IP to MC32S (digital phone), this is randomly ocurring, but I always have speech path from MC32S to IPPhone. No matter if Media Security is configured on my system.
I used a sniffer on my switch when there was no speech from IP to MC32S, and I saw a ICMP Message from the MC32S to the IP Phone as UDP (port unreachable), the problem is not the port, because i had a call using the same port when there was voive two ways.

If someone got the answer, tell me what to do please. Thanks.

Best Regards

Hi,

there is a post from 19-10-2008 with a response for that problem (forum system doesnt allow me to post URLs...) titled "mc32s".

Please, if you test (it and it works) post here because I am going to install a new one into a CS1000E next week.

Best regards,
Victor
