A loop start line is a pots line. Just like the one in your house. All you have to do is create a "Loop" in the circuit for you to get dialtone. Its counterpart the "ground" start line requires that the circuit be grounded out to recieve dialtone. This change has to be done through your PSTN provider. Then a change must be made on the pbx to reflect it

The problem is on a loop start line there is no whats called "Supervision" which means the PBX does not know when to hang up the call. Better yet in this case your voice mail.

Nope. The callpilot channel is not releasing after the caller does. So it will record whatever is on the line. first dead air. then reorder..

Fix.. Call your pots lines carrier have them changed to Ground start lines.
when they are ready to switch them over. Change all of your loop start trunks to ground in LD 14
