Phone Flashing Arrows

I know this is probably a silly question and I used to know the answer but forgot. What does it mean when a 2008 is flashing all arrows down the middle?

I have had a very strange thing happen today. I pulled out a user's crossover cable on the punchdown block. Well, the phone will not come back after I punched them back down. Any idea what happened? The phone is now flashing all arrows down the middle.

thanks,
MM

Reverse your wires and then unplug and plug the phone back in. If you get a flash and then nothing or if the arrows continue to flash, it usually means that the signals are not right. Pull the jumper and puchdown in the reverse order. You may need to DISU/ENLU that TN. Try to perform an IDU. If it comes back with data, you are good. If it comes back with and NPR error, you are not good.

Make sure you didn't accidentally punch it down on a analog port. This will cause a digital phone to flash continuously.
