Delete all of the information associated with the customer you no longer want and rebuild in the other customer.

What are you trying to achieve?

there were two switch operator consoles, one for each cust #, so if one cust extn wants to call the other cust extn they would dial 26, get a dialtone then dials the extn #, we want to change that so all they dial is the extn #

Customers are logical partititions in the PBX. The only way for one customer to call the other customer would be to connect them via aback to back T1 connection. The reason you are dialing an access code, is to access the trunk route. Now you have a few things to do:
  • Determine if you actually NEED 2 customers
  • If you do not, move all of the programming from Customer 1 to Customer 0 as Jack said.
  • If you need to maintain 2 customers, you need to look at the dial plan for each customer
  • If you have non conflicting DN ranges, then you can probably implement CDP between them to make dialing more transparent

Sounds like you may be in a bit over your head in any case, and it may be worth while having someone come in to look at your whole situation and make a recomendation. You may be better served by Tennant Service rather than a Multi Customer environment. Depending on the size of your system and the number of users affected, this may be a little or a lot of work.

Well its only about 15 extns on Cust 1, so you are saying delete all 15 extns and build them back into Cust 0 what about the TNs in Cust 1 can i still use them in Cust 0

Yes and Yes.

The TN's don't care/know what customer they are assigned to until the software tells them.

Out and rebuild as customer 0 and you should be all set.

Again you must have trunks and other configuration built for customer 1 all of that will eventually need to be removed as well.
