Hmmm

I know that this is kind of off the subject lines here but does anyone know anything about OTM...Optivity Telephony Manager 1.1?

I have it set up for call detail recording through the MDR 2000 buffer box and that works fine.

My problem is that it always states that there aren't any records matching my criteria when I'm doing a simple extension detail report.

Can anyone help me with this or does anyone know where I can get some help on this?

The company that we were using for support is always saying that they will be out but they never seem to show up.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Firmware?

I'd ditch your support company then if I was you!

Anyways, how have you configured OTM for the collection? I use Data Buffering + Access to connect to the M1 via the network and pull down the CDR data. All my CDR data then goes into the detail1.img file. Does this file contain any data?

I assume from you mentioning Extension Detail Report that you are using the OTM Telecom Billing System (TBS). You need to make sure you have performed a collection and costing before attempting run a report. My collection is configured to use a script (sl1new.col) and it pulls the information from the detail1.img file and runs it through that script. The costing is a bit more in depth You can check if the collection or costing has succeeded by going into TBS and selecting Edit > Call Database. This will show the data, and an option to view collected or costed data

I've not used one of those, but IIRC it has a serial connection to the PC. Have you configured OTM to collect the data from that box at all? If so, what do you see in the CDR collection file, and the TBS call database?
