Analog card Install

Hi, can someone tell me why when I replaced an analog card on the same slot as I had the bad one I can't enable it. I had disable the bad card before removing it using
ld 20
DISC 20 0 06
Then I did a STAT and I got all Disable on it
when I got the new card I took the old one out and placed the new one on it's place.
I got 3 blinking red lights an then they went off. Don't it supposed to have a solid red untill I re enable it.
I have tryed to enable it and I get the same error
NPR326 - No response from card - retry the command.
this is a brand new card so I'm confused. What is wrong ?

Any Ideas?

Can you try that card in another slot? Just because it is a new card does not mean that it is good. Maybe you have a bad slot and not a bad card.

Also, check your backplane. Take a flashlight and check the pins behind the card on that slot and ensure you or someone else bent a pin.
