I am having a user needing to send calls at his discretion to her voicemail when on a call or busy.

He has the MSB feature in a key, but it won't work when on a call. Users here have M2616 with a main DID DN and a Rollover DN assigned. This user was using an Avaya system before, and states that the "Send" key would do work as he needs: Send a call ringing to his VM when busy or on a call.

I do not know if I can or how to program a DND key, and if it would work as needed.

Any suggestion would be greately appreciated.

The MSB key is the equal to the DND on a Avaya Gr3 system. Unfortunately, once the call is presented to the phone, you can not press the MSB to do as he wants, the MSB would need to be activated before the call was presented.

The MSB key, is this on an ACD setup? Do they login and press not ready for things like that? Can you post the TN in question?

Yes this is an M2616 working as ACD agent phone. I like the idea about taking off the 2nd DN, but not sure if it would affect the ACD behavior.

What about making the 2nd dn SCN?

Not trying to start the great debate here but I ALWAYS out and rebuild ACD sets. Heard (and seen) to many tails of woo where users start having all kinds of freaky stuffhappening as a result of changing ACD tn's.
