Location: Budapest Rep Power: 0 ![]() | hi friends......remember me???? I wonder if anyone could successfully connect "modern" analogue phones to Meridian 11 systems. The function I am looking for is Calling Line Identification (CLIP). It is a very basic function on digital phones on Meridian, but according to the vendor representative it is impossible to provide this functionality on analogue lines. The question is: are there any implementation of CLIP for analogue phones in the Nortel domain? Many thanks for your response. Regards, Istvan

Location: Canada Rep Power: 6 ![]() | LOW COST HARDWARE Not sure about "CLIP" but for "CLID" (Calling Line ID) to be displayed on an analogue set you are talking about the CLASS (Custom Local Area Signalling Service) feature. Your switch needs at least one CLASS Modem Card (NT5D60AA) plus software package 95CPND, 332-CNUMB and 333-CNAME (if you also want Name delivery). This will also give you Visual Message Waiting capability on CLASS type sets. Steamer
