Is this possible? I was thinking I would just have to change the IPs in the M1, CP server, and CP client and re-wire accordingly. If neccessary I would have them set us up on a VLAN or something for security issues. I have an 81C that is on the company network with static company IPs.

I also have a 61C and an 11C setup as standalones with the 137.x.x.x and 140.x.x.x addresses. The vendor for my 61C in Fla told my contact that she has to re-install the software or upgrade to 2.0 in order to change from standalone to the company network. All sites have ver. 1.07

I want to be able to peform backups to network drives and allow remote client access. We use tape backups here with the 81C but were used to changing the tapes. The contacts at the other sites are NOT!

I can't think of any reason you would have to go to 2.0.... As long as the Elan and Tlan are on separate subnets you would just have to change the switch IP's,etc and wire accordingly. Good Luck.

Well????

We have over 20 1.07 CallPilots on our Corporate IP Network and they work fine, the only proviso is to make sure that your ELAN is configured on it's own subnet and that the subnet does not use Broadcast. The Meridian does not like Broadcast storms on it's ELAN. They temnd to give up the ghost.....
