| Lawyers Hey All, I have an issue right now passing CLID information to outside numbers. Currently I have an 11c with a PRI to the local Telco. Any extension off this switch gives perfect CLID information using entry 0 in the CDB. I have a second 11c that has a PRI in to the first unit. This is set up as a Tie trunk. Currently I am using DSC to get to stations on the first PBX and using TSCs to get local and LD calling. On the first PBX 6 and 9 are used for LD and local respectfully. I tried adding an entry in the CDB on the second 11c but for some reason any call that goes out is not adding the CLID information. All I am seeing is the DN being passed. CH 12 OMSG SETUP REF 00000017 CH 12 23 TOD 15:55:46 FEAT :NCID PROGRESS: ORIG ADDR IS NOT ISDN CALLING #:4869 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE CALLED #:99460601 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE I am assuming this has something to do with the way I have things configured that it doesn't think this is a public call and isn't adding the information. What am I missing to get this guy to pass CLID... Thanks! | ||||||||

You should be using INAC on the Routes and you need to have the NET_DATA block configured correctly. The reason that you are getting PRIVATE is because the the route is a TIE, and the M1 has not ben told the call is public. There are many qays to do this wrong, but only 1 way to do it right. Way too much to explain here though, and your config may require a few tricks to give you what you want. Your best bet is to have someone go in and set this up the proper way for you and then you can reference that config for future stuff. There may be many responses to this question, but there are also many pieces that need to be right to get this to work correctly. I know someone who does a bit of PRI stuff that may be able to help you. __________________ Fletch For more on Nortel E911 Solutions on the web: http://nortel.com/e911 Don't forget to register for the FREE E911 Webinar on Oct. 30th! http://thevoicereport.com/E911 | ||||||||
