SECCS Installation Problem - Please Help

Option 61C
According to AT&T, we have a toll-free number that they're sending DNIS on that's on our T1. However, I can't find that DNIS in the switch either by going into LD 20 and doing a DNB or by looking at the IDC table in LD 49. But when I dial the toll-free number it rings at our receptionist. I've been able to find all of our DNIS numbers in either of these 2 loads. Hmmm.
This toll-free number used to have a DNIS that matched the last 4 numbers of the toll-free number but was then changed to match a new numbering plan when we changed locations.
Is there any place else in the system that I can check to see how this toll-free number is being sent to the receptionist; or maybe a way that I can trace this number on the T1?

Thanks

Help with LD 86, LD 87 and LD 90

twscrb

We use DNIS and outpulse digits from Sprint. I've noticed that when the DNIS is not programmed (LD 49) as an example. The called Toll Free number will end up on our attendant consoles.

What I do to test is in ----------
LD 49 convert the DNIS that AT&T gives you to your 4 digit Maintenance set...
Dial it - if it rings on your set - then that is the DNIS - if not -- Contact AT&T again.

Paging Problems

Here are some ideas for items to check:

- Call your toll-free number
- Use the TRAD command in LD 80 to trace your incoming call. (sorry I don't know the syntax for this on a 61c; on the 11c its TRAD loop channel). Look at the DIAL DN line. This should be the number that is being sent to be processed by the switch AFTER the IDC table.
- Check to make sure you don't have an Attendant LDN key that matches your toll-free DNIS number.
- Make sure your incoming route isn't autoterminating to a particular DN, or terminating to the attendant by default. This would be in your RDB. Here is what the RDB for my my toll-free T1 looks like (timers, etc. left out). My incoming calls get DNIS translation in IDC table 1 (DCNO/NDNO for day/night). Auto and DNIS = NO.

OK. I got it. I couldn't figure out how to print my RDB table in LD 16 so I just re-pointed the DNIS to my set in both of our IDC tables. I had re-pointed only on table 1 before and that's why that didn't work.
I'm assuming then that in the RDB table it's defaulted to send any incoming digits that are not on the IDC table to the receptionist.
But I would still like to print the RDB to confirm this.

Thanks

I think the information is in the CDB isnt it? What intercept treatment to get for an invalid DN?

Cordless Phone Like Cell Phones

I think you're right, that the vacant number treatment would be one of the ways that his incoming calls would be getting to the attendant. But the RDB needs to also be checked since it could be auto terminated to a particular DN.
