Location: Arizona Rep Power: 7 ![]() | SL100 Procomm terminal About 2 hours ago, our 11E took it upon itself to reset the time to midnight. Soon after, it ran the mindnight routines and is now hung up. I do not get a > prompt and am unable to login from either the terminal or the dialup modem. No matter what I type, whether it be LOGI, END, ****, etc, it just re-displays the following message with no prompt. OVL111 000 IDLE TTY 00 SCH MTC BUG 2:07 It just does not accept any commands. Any ideas on what's wrong and how to correct it? [Edited on 16/6/2003 by freddog]

The baud rate should be fine as you are seeing TTY output. __________________ Fletch Nortel Emergency Services PLM For more on Nortel E911 Solutions on the web: http://nortel.com/e911 Check out this month's E911 Talk podcast at Nortel E911 Talk Podcasts

Location: Arizona Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Opt 11E RUN AMUCK! Ok kids... this is why you shouldn't sniff glue... :eyecrazy: Thanks for the help guys! It also helps if you enter the LOGI command in caps instead of lower case. In fairness to myself, I should mention that I work on the 11E maybe once every year and a half (we have a local guy at that site for most routine stuff). Just accustomed to my 61C, which doesn't really care if you use all caps or not. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a tube of lemon-scented model glue to get back to... He went through the trouble of saying it was an 11E!" __________________ Fletch Nortel Emergency Services PLM For more on Nortel E911 Solutions on the web: http://nortel.com/e911 Check out this month's E911 Talk podcast at Nortel E911 Talk Podcasts

I'm set to N/8/1 and I've used both caps and lower case. No matter what I type, it comes back and says the exact same thing. Please help!!!

Location: Fort Myers, FL Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Carrier reporting CRC errors Thank you. I was able to dial in and actually log in. However, it seems like I'm one cursor spot off. I'm still getting that same message. I also have to hit the return key twice in order to get back to my prompt.
