call pilot desktop messaging problem

got a question someone might have an answer for.
we are running callpilot desktop messaging off of our voicemail. ever since daylight savings (as far as i've noticed) the timestamp on messages has been off by 1 hour forward. does that make sense at all? if it does, has anyone else seen this problem?

I asked Nortel 2 months ago if there would need to be any patches and they replied no. We learned that tonight we have to upgrade to the latest PEP and add the DST patch to go with that. Our vendor didn't even here about the DST patch until late last week so this has become a pain in the ass considering we have a ton of menu's.

There are actually two PEP's out, one for those who do not load hotfixes and one for those who do. The one for those who do didn't come out until Friday morning. We do apply windows hotfixes, so when we tried to load the original PEP, it did not work. I went throught he** this weekend removing hotfixes, reinstalling SU03, reinstalling CP manager, installing the Nortel PEP with approved hotfixes, thinking life is good until I tried to install the DST PEP and it still failed. Then I found out Monday morning that there was a new PEP released Friday morning...We will install on Sunday.

if you are running 2.x, you are out of luck.

From the INNUA forums:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Here is an extract from Nortel DST Bulletin Technical Bulletin 2007007646 rev 1. It states Call Pilot Desktop Messaging (for Call Pilots on Releases 2.5 and earlier), will be off 1 hour than as of the March 11 DST implementation date. What the bulletin didn't say is that Desktop Messaging would be off by 1 hour ahead (a jump of two hours) if the PBX is set at the correct time, whereas everybody expected it to remain 1 hour behind.7007646
"ANALYSIS

CallPilot

CallPilot systems connected to the CS 1000 receive their time from the CS 1000 via the AML link. Consequently, adjustments to their internal clocks is not required for changes to Daylight Savings Time (DST). When Extended DST starts March 11, the message header time stamp for users in the same time zone as the server will be correct via a TUI. However, the time stamp of messages, in systems without the Extended DST patch, will be off by one hour in other contexts. Contexts include:

1. Desktop messaging inbox view

2. the Network Message Service time zones feature

RECOMMENDATIONS

CallPilot

A DST Extension PEP will be available for application to CallPilot 3.0 SU02 and CallPilot 4.0 SU03 servers in February 2007. This PEP will not be available for CallPilot 2.5 and earlier systems. In conjunction with the server PEP, an updated CallPilot Manager will be introduced. CallPilot 2.5 and earlier systems should upgrade to 4.0 and apply the DST extension PEP and the CallPilot Manager update. In addition, to the CallPilot PEP, a Microsoft Windows 2003 hot fix will be required for the CallPilot PEP to function. The hot fix and instructions for its use are available at

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928388

It is recommended to not install the hot fix until the corresponding CallPilot PEP for DST Extension is available"
