Meridian 1 and RightFax

Has anyone programmed a Meridian 1 for connectivity with RightFax using a Brooktrout T1 card? I am having dome problems getting it to answer. I programmed an RLI to point to the loop going to RF and CDP'd an extension to it, but I get a long delay and then a busy when I dial the number (like the PBX does not know what to do with the call). Any idea's?

Thanks,
Mark

Docs 1772,1774,1775 all have various T1/E1 configs for Nortel. Some use robbed-bit signalling, one uses a Dchannel. Is the T1 up? can you loop it back? have you wired the crossover cable correctly? There isn't enough info in your message to help troubleshoot. The long delay is probably the pbx trying each channel in order until it fails.

Hope this helps.

If I remember correctly there are some straps on the Brooktrout that need to be config. As WhereWolf states you will have to adjust for these "Some use robbed-bit signalling, one uses a Dchannel"
