CP Upgrade from 1.5.49 to 1.6

We have a CallPilot version 1.5.49 and are having issues with AA. I see there is Version 1.6. Is this just a software upgrade that will run on our hardware, or is it different hardware/card?

It would not surprise me at all. I inherited this system. I did not see 1.7 as an option for CallPilot mini at Nortel, and it shows 1.6 released in 2004. This system was supposedly installed about 4 years ago.

We are just having issues setting up our AA and I wondered if it was a veriosn specific issue.

Thanks,

Mike

Not a problem, I have no clue what I am doing, but that never stopped me before.

I tried Nortel, but I do not have enough access to even see the Release file for 1.6 much less anything else.

Thanks for you help though.

No problem, that's pretty much they way I learned when I started doing telecom in 99,they just threw me at an Opt 61 and CP 1.07.
Not an expert by any means but learning by doing seems to stick with me longer.
I went on Nortel's website where I have an account but my account doesn't have enough access to open the 1.06 doc,it let me start to save and then came up asking me to login and said I would have to request further access.
That's the only thing about Nortel's site I don't like,I mean I understand security and all but just to download a doc?
Let us know if you figure anything out.
