Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Option 11 25.40 I am installing an option 11 with 25.40 software. I can not get a new T1 to work. I have the TMDI card with the built on dch, I also installed a cc daughterboard on the TMDI card. I have a test set that I can connect to the network side and then I can make calls from the test set. So doing that the network company says that they are good, but my switch does not come up. I could use some help please. thanks John

Location: @home Rep Power: 8 ![]() | Do you have the unit properly grounded? Had one once where the ground did not go back to the same box as the power for the switch came from and I could not get the alarm to go off. Had electricians run new ground and all started to work. Was a strange solution but I had asked them to put the ground in specifically for this install and when I noticed it was not in the same electrical box it was the first thing in my mind when the PRI did not come up. Had another one with OPX gear attached. When I grounded them to the system ground the PRI went out. When I lifted the ground and let them ground through the power outlets it came back up. bizarre but true.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I check the grounding, not my problem though. A bit more info. The company that I am working for decided to buy the new PRI from Time Warner, not the best idea as far as I am concerned but that is the way it is. The dch will not come up. It is the same as usual programing, ni2-std-esf-b8s-clock,ext. Need help with this please. thanks John

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | What are the inbound and outboard d-channel monitors saying? Is auto recovery on or off? If the service messages are on currently, you can try to turn them off - I've had cases where the telco setup was service messages on for 1 t1 and services messages off for another t1. If the telco hasn't placed the D-Channel in an auto-recovery/establish mode, then you can try all day, but it won't come up without their assistance. You also need to verify that the Interface (Ni-2, ATT, Custom, etc... is the same on the telco side....) Hope it helps... Wherewolf

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I have worked with the telco, they have verified what they are sending to me. So even with their assisstance it did not come up. I then replaced the tmdi card and I spent yesterday trying to get it up but to no avail. They said that they are sending ni-2, Std, b8s, etc. thanks John

Location: Lou, KY Rep Power: 9 ![]() | Are all DIP switches and Device Numbers confirmed and correct? If you put a Loop Back on the I/O panel and loop the card itself, before hitting any cables, your T1 should come up in WRONG MODE. If it doesn't come up in WRONG MODE then there is a hardware or config problem within your PBX. From there, move the Loop back down the food-chain until you hit the CSU. Once you reach the CSU, it should then be up to the telco to provide service. They may need to dispatch to your site for proper testing. rlc __________________ No matter where you go, there is the Ladies Love Marty Fan Club. :bow2: :bow2: :bow2:
