Anyone have an explaination on how automatic overflow and timed overflow work together? I have a soure Q that is set to overflow in 2.30 min. Sometimes it seems to get stuck and hold times go up dramatically. Correct me if I am wrong but if you set the Q to overflow in 2 min then why would you auto overflow in say 3 min? Or do they have to be the same value?

Overflow is by number of calls already waiting in queue. Only looks at this option when the call first comes into the queue.

Time overflow is a specific time a call waits in queue before it would be sent to an agent in anothr queue.

I just realized as read your post I knew that! Waht would cause the Q not to overflow at 2 mins. The hold time rises and will not overflow until the superviser hits the night key?

Power-down procedure on Option11

A couple of other things that will affect the overflow is the state of the queue you are attemptint to overflow to. Is it in Night mode or has the BYTH been reached for that queue? If either is the case, the call won't overflow!
