Hello,

I am the pseudo admin for our symposium system in our organization. The problem we are having is with the report function of symposium. One issue is that the report functionality of symposium works on an ad hoc scenario however the report function has halted the entire server once reports have been scheduled and activated.

We have been going insane over this issue for a week or so and there has been no resolution to the Nortel or Bell folks. The only belief to date by Bell is that since there are multiple users of "sysadmin" which causes the report function not to work. This makes no sence since any network has the ability to have multiple root or admins logged in simulataneously

Any thoughts or any other information please let me know

are you saying that when you change the status of a report from "inactive" to "active", the entire server shuts down?

Do this.... To generate/schedule reports u dont need to be a network/sysadmin on Symposium....why dont u define a normal access class with reports access so that u can observe if report scheduling works in that sense?

Also is your Virtual Memory High?Could u pls check if it is min 256MB and u can set it as high as needed....Also is there enough disk space on Drive d: ?
