Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi, I have a M2250 console on a Meridian1 Option 11 that is not maintained and there is no sys admin since he walked out the company. I need to set the time on the console but I understand it can't be done through the console itself. I've had this somewhat cryptic reply from Nortel. '...with regards to knowing how to set the date and time on an M2250 console, this is done at the switch level and is changed in Load 2 which is done by the PBX system administrator' This means jack shit to me so any step by step help would be appreciated.

And to be honest, I just joined yesterday and am not sure if I should be directing you how to get into doing things. Could be dangerouse. Im not trying to be mean or fecsious (sorry for the spelling) I just don't want to be doing something Im not supposed to. That's all. So therefore, it might be better to call the you PBX vendor to call in and change it for you? Greg.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I am the PBX vendor but I don't normally touch Meridian 1's. This is for a client of mine and I'm getting a load of crap out of Nortel and my distributor as usual. Please accept this as a disclaimer for any information given, ie I accept all responsibility for all and any damage/harm/alien abduction that may occur as a result of your advice and my actions.

Location: Far away Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Setting the System Time and Date From the console Two feature keys need to be programmed on the attendant console to allow the time and date to be changed; one for "modifying the time" (MTM) and one for "modifying the date" (MDT). This is achieved using Overlay 12. Refer to "Assigning Features To Console Keys". The date and time is displayed simply by pressing the respective key (MDT or MTM). To set the time or date from the attendant console proceed as follows:- 1. Press a spare loop key. 2. Press the MTM key, if it is the time that needs to be changed, or the MDT key if it is the date that needs to be changed. 3. Key in the new time or date. Note just key in the new date or time as numbers without spaces eg 260395 for the 26th of March 1995 and 1315 for 'one-fifteen' in the afternoon. The system will automatically separate the day from the month and the month from the year. 4. Press the MTM or MDT key again. 5. Press the Release Key.
