I adopted same procedure for changing time.I programmed key 3 for MTM and when I directly press that key current time was displayed. When I press Loop key than MTM key and I try to change the time after writing time (0805) system wrote it as 08 05 and after that I press MTM key and than RLS key but system did not change the time.

Can you tell me that which option I am missing or what should I do? I want to tell you that I am having problem with LD 2 (TFC400).
That is password problem.

Is all of your system time off. If so go to LD 2, STAD (set time and date) look it up in your manual for the format to set.

When you change the time the PBX sees it as a low priority task. Even if you set it via LD2, I've observed that it can take a while for all phone sets to get the updated time.

I have done this procedure ( selected loop key then MTM key then type time and when I typed the time it was separated automatically hours from miniutes then again press mtm key and then rlease key) two days before again but still time is same and not update by system.

Infact I have written my actual problem in many posts, my pwd2 is missed.
Now here in Pakistan time is forwarded one hour from current time. and when I load ld 2 and try to change time it gives TFD400 error and after that I consulted this forum everyone ask me to contact with my vendor after that I write them a letter in this regard yesterday I receive a fax from there side and they demanded one thousand US dollars for resetting the pwd2 password. I am sure my headoffice will never pay. But I have to change time.
If someone thinks my problem and wants to help me he can send me private message also, If he dont want to write something openly in this forum.

Do you have EM?

The charge is excessive, but in line with what most vendors charge. More of a penalty for poor record keeping on your orginzations part than a reflection of the amount of work required.

One workaround for your PWD 2 issue is the next time you talk with vendor re: an upgrade make it a condition of awarding the work to them that reset PWD 2 for you at no additional charge.

With 5.0 -- haven't tried with 5.5 but would expect the same result --software you MUST use PWD 2 to change time.

You should also look at set based admin, see your features & serrvices NTP's, it may be a solution for your issue.
