I'm new to Nortel systems at this so please bear with me. I work for a Health Care network that is having a Childrens Health telethon next month. The linear distribution/hunt does not work good for a telethon (the first six people get killed with calls) so I was wondering if a ACD group would be better. If so can we use single line analog phones if not will 3902 work? If an ACD group would not work what do you all suggest? Our system is an 81c running 25.40. :wave:

Missing agent name on SCCS report

ACD is the right application and yes you can use 2500 sets.

Thanks for the info we do have the software package installed in our switch so how does one go about programing an ACD group? Any help we can recieve would be greatly appreciated. I am a programing newbee.

firmware upgrade on 3905 phones

I am not familiar with the term ACD Group, however, if you create a ACD queue
(ld 23
req: new
type: acd
follow the prompts until the new Q is creted

And then use Meridian Terminal Emulator (MAX) to switch existing telephones into that queue or build sets with that queue on the primary key. If you set it up right, calls should go to the longest waiting agent.

Let me know if I am way off on this one.
