Seems to simply.... Last edited by hached; 04-19-2007 at 12:23 PM.

We have ours set up similar to the one from the vendor site and are still having problems. Have a call into Cantata so will see what they have to say the next time it fails and we send them the log files.

Location: Toronto, Ontario Rep Power: 39 ![]() | I was just looking in the switch and we only have Dual PRI cards, I'm pretty sure I can build TIE's off these but at the back there's no ethernet, only the DB15 connectors, do I use a transceiver here to convert to ethernet?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Ok ladies and gents.. My customer has a BrookTrout TR1034 Card installed intheir Right fax Server. I have my Nortel CS1000S working with a TMDI card for the TIE line going to the BrookTrout. Built as B8ZS, ESF, E&M, WNK, WNK. I can send faxes to the server with no problem.. HOWEVER.. They can not send a fax OUT of the Fax Server via the BrookTrout board. I monitor the circuit in the PBX and do not see any of my channels busy when they try to fax out and they get a busy signal in the Fax Server when as well.. I also get a BUG1339 error at the same time on the PBX.. Any ideas as to what is wrong with either the fax board or the PBX TIE?

The one thing we had to do right in the beginning was to install different firmware on to the Brook Trout card (downloaded from their web site). When we told the Brook Trout vendor "Nortel" they immediately pointed us to their firwmare download section. There after though it worked like a charm.
