It doesn't matter if she knew the calls could be tracked she shouldn't have been making to calls to Mexico on the company dime - period; just about every company out there has policies on the use of company time, equipment and resources and just about all of them have very strong language regarding the use of computers and phone systems for personal reasons. If I were you as an employee I would give up the name; as a friend I would also attempt to negotiate a plan by which she repays the company for the cost of the calls - or finds another job. | ||||||||
