Unhappy 2 voicemail notices, what to do?

Alright, first issue...one thats been an annoyance in the 6 months I've worked here. Our voicemail box is ALWAYS at a constant 90% or more capacity rating. Nowadays, every month, it fills up to 99% or 100% where people can't leave voicemails anymore.

I've sent out company wide emails, asking people to delete old voicemails and whatnot, but it seems to do very little. I've also gone through and deleted a ton of old/unused voicemail boxes, even shaved off like 30min worth of messages one day and it only brought the storage from 99% to like 93%!

So now, we're hovering around 97%, despite my hard work going through and removing 14 more old/unused mailboxes. I bet this problem stems from the fact that we didn't have many voicemail users when the system was originally installed, but now we have a great deal that I don't think our system/myself can keep up with. I know I've set CLS for everyone and made changes where voicemail should be deleted after 15days, but Im not sure if its actually working.

Also, when the system shows a user and their storage used, its very innaccurate. I've called a few people asking them to delete their 3min worth of voicemail only to find out they already did and there's nothing left in there. Can I resolve those without having to delete/re-add the voicemail box? My concern with that is, the personal greetings having to be re-done.

Now that I think I covered that issue. My other is a warning about "Update Bill Control File." I have no clue what this means and couldn't find info on it on any of my forums.

this is mermail. callpilot is too new for us folks over here. we like to keep antiques around here!

i would put my pbx info in my sig, but i cant seem to find the option for that on the forum.

on your trouble of "Update Bill Control File" is related to your drive being FULL

Problem Resolution

Fix:
Set start time and stop time to default of 01:00.
Remove and recreate "billing" cabinet.
Run audits

PS: your PBX and Mer.Mail software are both EOL and not supported by Nortel

I dont know exactly how much storage we are allowed. My guess is less than 120 minutes total.

And for your resolutions, some instructions would be helpful.

I'm 22 and started my first fulltime job here (outside of the military) only 6 months ago. As good as I am with computers, I am a total newb with phones and PBX systems.

To get more system info log in to TOOLS menus.

Access VM logon screen. Press LOGON > type TOOLS. You will be asked for password, usually this is the same as the voicemail password.
