Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Option 11C Clocking switching to free run with PRI from Cisc When I dial into a option 11c with Meridian Mail. The Find function will not work in Meridian Mail when using Hyperterminal. Also when I exit from Meridian Mail the Cursor gets stuck at the bottom of the terminal window and you can't see the output. I've made changes to the Terminal settings in Hyperterminal but in some cases it refuses to connect. VT100 is the terminal emulation that will operate on the SL1 but Meridian Mail don't completely like this setup. What do the Pro's use? One of the Provider Tech's mentioned Symantec's ProComm Plus. What emulation and are there any gotha's?

Location: Leesburg, VA Rep Power: 6 ![]() | firmware upgrade on 3905 phones kjanda, MMail doesn't like the F5 key on a normal keyboard, use this command to replace the F5 key..... Esc, [, 21, ~ then enter. You could use this command for the rest of the F keys also just replace the number.....F1=17, F2=18 and so on. Don't put the commas in. As far as the cursor being stuck at the bottom.....I'm still trying to figure that one out. Hope this helps! Tim

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | Hyperterminal or ProComm Plus Haven't tried it yet, but one of the Nortel guys @ ETAS said he uses VT-320. __________________ Two snips, a snort, a turn, a fly, and a grunt, and it was so simple, like the jitterbug, it plum evaded me!

Location: PA Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Take the Test I've spent alot of time a while back at Hilgreaves (Hyperterminal) web site trying to figure that one out. What I have come up with is that VT-100 emulation only has 4 F-keys. Thats why the F-5 doesn't work. I currently use a program called Crosstalk (don't know the vendor-it's on my other PC at work). It works very well with VT-320 emulation. I have used Procomm with success at VT-220 emulation.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | AM I RIGHT OR AM I WRONG ???? Got this info from the programmer that setup the system from Service Provider. Installed ProComm +. Set terminal emulation to VT 102. Zmodem protocol. Edited the keyboard file. Double clicked the F1 key and copied. Double clicked the F5 and pasted and edited to read as ^[OM. Used this and was able to use the F5 fuction to find in MerMail. Thanks for the reply's!
