Call Foward on Cell Phone

Option 61C
I need to change the templates for my 3900 series phones in my PBX so that I have minimum input when I setup new phones. I looked through the NTPs but couldn't find where I can do that from. Anybody know what LD that is?

Thanks

PBX Implementation Checklist

Are you talking about MAT or OTM templates?

Meridian mail question?

I'm talking about templates in the switch itself. I'm basically assuming that I can modify one of the templates so that, for instance, if I'm creating a 3903 set all of the key features will be programmed already except for the name assignment. I'm not sure if that's even possible. I do have templates like this setup in OTM but I'm trying to get more familiar with the switch.

Thanks

Meridian mail question?

THE ONLY WAY TO DO THAT IS TO CHANGE THE PHONE AND THEN COPY

MAT REPORTS

Templets in the switch are not the same thing as in OTM, you can't change a templet in the switch. there is one templet for every phone that is different. if you only have ten 2616 programmed in the switch and everyone of them have a different key 6, then everyone would have a templet. Templets in the switch are not used for programing phones but are used for saving memory. The templets in OTM and MAT are programing templets.

You can read the info in LD 1 of the ADMIN Manual.

TGAR?

It appears that you need to set a new OTM template for 390x phones.

Do you have a 390x phone already set up in OTM that you can model after? If so, using OTM 2.0, the easiest thing I found is to print it out (File>Print>Short Format). Then choose Forms> and check Forms Interface, then choose View>Template and add a new template for the 390x instrument that you want. Fill out what you need for your template from the printout you created previously.

If you don't have a previously-built set in the system, use OTM to build a phone to your liking, then perform the steps above to build a new OTM template for it.
