| Junior Member  | Technologically Challenged I have a secretary here with a 2616 and an add on. On the add on there are several scn's programmed. Whenever someone calls one of those scn's, the caller shows up on her display. And when she calls one of the scn's, her name and number show up on her display as well. She says it just started doing it recently and that before when she called them their number appeared. I don't know what is causing this! Any help is appreciated, I don't know if I am having a brain fart or what! |

Rep Power: 6  | Norstar MICS 4.0 dropping incoming calls It sounds like someone changed the CLS to TDD from ADD. With TDD, it would automaticly display the incoming call while on her primary line. In the example you gave, the call would be her calling the SCN number. | ||||||||

| Senior Member  | Voicemail pager notification (Outcalling Audits?) Try setting your CLS to ADD instead of TDD. If I am remembering correctly, the TDD will show the calling party for any line that appears on the secretaries phone. The purpose of TDD is to alow the user to see who is calling them when they are on the other line, this is a good thing not a bad thing. by having TDD she can see if one of the calls going to one of the SCN key is from an important person, thus giving her a chance to answer it before going to Vmail. |

Rep Power: 6 | Change 3900 series template Well since she's got an aom, she may have an extra key available. You could give her a display key (dsp). Then she'd be able to change the display at will. Press the display key and then press the line key in question and the display will change. You'd want to chg her cls back to add though. | ||||||||
