Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I recently tried updating my MiRAN III card to the latest MMS file from Nortel's website (30P03.MMS) using their established procedure. Apparently I goofed up somewhere as now the card will not boot. I just get error messages all the time. I can get to the VxWorks prompt using "jkl" at startup and can telnet to the VxWorks login prompt. Is there a procedure to try to reload the software image onto the card from an external ftp or tftp site just using VxWorks commands (either my original image or the new one)? If not, any other ideas (other than calling Nortel, of course...). Thanks.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Okay, I've managed to revert my MiRAN III card back to version 3.0m and it works fine again. Anyone had any luck upgrading to the 30P03 version? When I perform the upgrade, it says successful, but after I reset the card I eventually just get a screen (on the attached terminal) that repeats the following two error messages: 0xf33208 (tStart): Card lan message and no companding law 0xf33208 (tStart): Wait for M-1 companding law no timeout Is there something I should have configured on the card BEFORE trying to upgrade it. I've followed the procedure (and reverted back to 3.0m) a couple times now with the same results... Thanks.
