Rep Power: 7 ![]() | We have an Option 81c running Succession 3.0. We upgraded our meridian mail to call pilot in Feb this year and ever since we have been having all kinds of problems. Cutoffs, crosstalk, and all kinds of other weird issues. I was looking through the planning and engineering guide and found the memory requirements for an Option 81c running Succession 3.0 with 68060E processors was 160MB. I looked in our swich and it only has 128MB. Could this be the reason for all of our problems? Any reason Nortel would not have looked at this? Thanks.

Once they reached a point where the memory became an issue.. the switch started to reload, and went into a constant reload cycle. If not either memory or software related.. I would suspect a grounding/electrical problem.. that would be my next plan of action. GL

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | This has been an ongoing problem since call pilot upgrade. Nortel is telling me that it is software related. They are telling me that they have the design group involved now. They are coming out next week to get a first hand look. I would think it is more of a hardware issue, but no one wants to swap out any cards???????????????????????
