Voicemail pager notification (Outcalling Audits?) - PBX Info :: Your Free PBX, PABX and Telephone Information Resource

Hey guys,

I am having a problem with meridian mail voice notification that I am wondering if you could help me with. It seems that when I put in certain pager numbers to be notified of voicemail, the voicemail system has a problem sending the notification. All of the settings are identical to other users that get successful pager notifications including myself. The pager numbers are 800 numbers so it would either be 800, 888, 877, or 866.

There error being printed out is as follows:

* 11011 ADMIN 4/21/03 10:00:36 NODE=1 HWLOC=0-1-4-1-2
DES Restricted Called DN:91877******* Look at Outcalling Audits. 9 Cust=1
[LNTC=OF:7E:214A1433:057D931E]

I am not sure where to find the Outcalling Audits so I am not sure how to debug or fix this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

MAKE SURE 877 IS IN YOUR RESTRICTION PERMISSION LIST

I have checked my restrictions/permissions listing and 877 is in the permissions part of that listing. All of the 800 numbers are in there.

HOW ABOUT ON THE SWITCH SIDE HAS 877 GOT THE SAME RLI AS 800

CUST 0
TRAN AC1
TYPE NPA or it may be SPN depending on how your switch was programmed.
1800 or 1877 or 1866 or 1855 again depending on your programming

I did my check and the only entry that came up was for 877.

NPA 1877
RLI 1
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

For all other entries: 1888, 1866, 1800 I got "ESN073".

When I did ERR ESN037 it didn't have any help text on it.

You might try looking for them as SPN's instead of NPA's.

Is this found in the same load as the NPA?

Read this again (It could be an SPN and not an NPA) the person that programmed this switch may have made them SPN instead of NPA. So if it didn't print as an NPA try SPN.

LD 90
