Rep Power: 5 ![]() | We have a new site with an IP branch office installed in April 06 and we are experiencing a lot of problems with 1120E phones. The trouble being reported is incoming calls are going to handsfree and can't be answered on the handset. Changing out the set is not a big deal on digital phones but with IP we have to keep re-assigning the new MAC to the IP address. Is anyone else experiencing problems with Nortel IP phones? | ||||||||

Location: NORTEL - NJ Rep Power: 6 ![]() | When you get the condition where the audio will only go to the handsfree, pickup the handset and give the phone a slight tap right on the Nortel Logo. If you then get audio in the handset, you have a faulty hookswitch spring. Contact your distributor to get this set replaced. | ||||||||
