Location: 1069.7 miles from Tiverton, Ontario (CANADA) Rep Power: 12 ![]() | So we have Unified Messaging and ran into an issue today that is like this. Person A gets a voice mail and opens message to listen via Outlook, all good so far. Person A forwarded this via email to another person, Person B. Person B gets the email in her "In-box" as a regular message. Within this message is an attachment of the original voice mail message. Person B cannot listen to it because Person A had her messages to play on her computer and Person B has it set to call her phone to listen. How can Person B listen to this through her phone? I dont need to save the voice mail message as a wav file because she does not have speakers. __________________ Fellas', I need more Cow Bell!

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Just to confirm, is the message in her "inbox" on callpilot? or has it been forwarded to the "inbox" on her email server? If it's still on callpilot, then she 'should' be able to listen thru callpilot....it's not quite as "unified" as one might expect..... Wherewolf

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | The user would have to forward it to the "email" addy of the next users callpilot "mailbox"....otherwise an "outside" "non subscriber" would have to listen to a .WAV file version through their computer. The only way you could listen over the phone (as I understand it.....) is if it was forwarded to a callpilot voicemail "email" addy. Clear as mud isn't it? Wherewolf

This may help more if they are having the same issue: How to forward a Voice Mail message with in Unified Messaging. 1.Select the message in Call Pilot Message Store that you want to forward. 2.Press the “To…” box and a drop down list will appear on the right. 3.Press the drop down box and scroll down to “CallPilot Address Book (local)” 4.From this list select the person you need to forward this message to. 5.When you are done and you press send this message will now show up in the recipients CallPilot Message Store within Outlook. The message that you just sent will now play according to the settings on the recipient’s computer. __________________ Fellas', I need more Cow Bell!
