Is there a way to force downgrading firmware on i2004 sets ?
My office PBX is succession Rls. 2.0. I've just gotten 16 new Phase II telephone from my boss to use as office phone. I try registering the sets to Signaling Server but it couldn't download the firmware which is older than one in the phone. Is there a way to force downloading to the sets?

There is a way to prevent the signaling server from downloading the firmware to i2004 sets. You would need your tech support people to assist with this since it is done through the pdt prompt on the sig server. (backwards to what you asked for...)
