I am trying to reset a call log/directory password on a 3903 phone, and am not getting it to change. I am running rel. 25.40, and when I issue the cpwd, it looks good, but the old password works still and the default does not. I get no error. I tried edd the system, as one user said that helped, but it did not. Please any help would be appreciated.

You can reset this in LD 32. Check the docs. I don't have the command off hand.

I tried it In LD 32:

CDPW ll ss cc uu waited and tried for some time to see if it took a while to propagate. I EDD'd it, no go. Did a firmware reflash, still no go.

are you getting any errors after you tried CPWD

None...it looks like it is works. It just gives me a post prompt. like below

I was asked the question if I had tried the default password and Yes...12345678 and that did not work.

try doing a firmware upgrade ld 32 fdlu tn
then try resetting the default password.
I've had this problem in the past with 3900 series phones and it cleared after the firmware upgrade.
