did you take Mer Mail out of service or is it still running

I think it was left still running....is there a way that I can tell for sure? We actually had someone come in and help with the migration.

OK, I flipped the power switch to off for meridian mail and no phones would work! I turned Mail back on and we got phones again after a few minutes. I have a call into the installer, just waiting for them to come by...thanks for the advice. I will post back when I know the answer.

you need to shut Mer. Mail down first before you flip the switch...

all you did was INI the PBX when you shut it down like that...it would have come up in about 2 minutes

OK, thanks for the help! You saved the day. When we took down the AML link we were able to power off the mail correctly. Thanks again! Apparently, meridian mail was disabled before (when CallPilot was installed) but when the PBX rebooted it re-enabled the AML link again so we were getting lights from there. Now, the techs that did the install are going to come out and totally remove Meridian Mail so we won't have this problem again.
